Calling HERK,KYDAN,MTNGUY and others
These are just a few of the forum members who constantly offer great advice and direction in helping others overcome issues. They hold valuable information and seem to have a good collection of resource material readily available. Is it possible that the administrators of this forum can set up a shared drive so that much of this resource material (pdf manuals, pictures, etc) can be loaded for quick reference. Just a thought.

It's all in my head..... er at least I thought it was there....
it used to be there- honest??
If you're talking about a file upload area, that would be up to the
admins.
We'll pass your suggestion along to them!
In the mean time

Well first of all; thank you.
I would like to know how to do that as well. I know they are here and if you look through just my posts you will find loads of pictures and files I uploaded over the last few years.
I seem to upload the same ones over and over though. My most popular are the ones that deal with the Winegard wall amp and antenna system.
Trying to make sense out of the file names some folks hang on them would be tough too. image356.jpg don't mean much till you open it; and sometimes not even then without the caption.

Its a good thought.
The challenge is maintaining it and who decides what gets put into it?
Borrowing an idea already used on another trailer forum, the moderators could create a RVing FAQ sticky with a list of questions or topics with links to the threads that satisfactorily address those questions.

In just about every section there are threads that are "Stuck" with, ideally, the "answer" to your question. In reality, most folks with questions do not search for a previous thread on their issue, they just log in and shout out a new thread.
Then if you say "look for it! That question has been answered before" you will get loads of grief for being "cold" to a newbie who needs help.
So, we do the search and post the thread (or the answer and files if needed) again; and again; and again.

So true.
The interesting thing is that the Search function on FRF is actually quite good when used (compared to other sites).
The difference might be twofold.
1) Its a repository for you, Kydan, Mtnguy and plenty of others (not to single out only you guys ) who have accumulated lots of pictures and files and DIY documented projects.
And 2) One sticky with the links to dozens of FAQ might encourage people to browse the topics. Kind of like walking the aisle at Camping World. I just didn't know I needed that item until I saw it.

Dan is right. This is an admin issue and I am not familiar enough with the Forum software to even have an opinion on how to do it.
