Can someone please make a suggestion

Can someone please make a suggestion on how to repair the diamond plate that's coming loose. Just picked my our brand new hyper lite 24hfs on Saturday and everything looked good. When we got it home we noticed this had came loose. It appears to have double side tape behind it. What might work best to bond it? ThanksClick image for larger version

If it is brand new then it is a warranty fix. I would get a short camping trip in, see what other issues you might have and then take it in to get all of them fixed at one time.

Yes it is brand new, and that's pretty much exactly what we have planned. I just didn't want it to get much worse.

To fix it correctly, it appears that it would all have to come off that wall and new reinstalled. The problem is, that it looks fairly thin and when it's removed it will bend and pull the wallpaper off the interior wall panel (which will also have to be replaced. If they just apply adhesive and push back into place, I think the wallpaper will release and you will have the same problem. I could be wrong, but that's what I see from just the pictures, real life may tell a different story.

We have the same wallpaper and diamond plate wall base. Ours started doing this as well. I simply squirted some liquid nails in the hole and went on. I was looking to trim the gap with a flat trip strip to keep the little ones from cutting themselves.

It looks like it's already pulling the wallpaper off the backing. I think that They'll try to put a piece of trim on the top of it and screw it to the frame where they can. As long as they do it all the way around that's fine.

Other than that, they'll have to remove the boiler plate and replace those sheets of paneling and then put the boiler plate back.
