Now not to change the subject but this important as well. If for some reason your a/c unit has to replaced on your camper and the dealer has one in stock, do not accept it unless you check the manufactures date when it was made, this works the same way as a tire maufacture does. Have the dealer order one for you.

I think there was a member here on the forum that had a new unit installed and it was out of warranty or did not have a full warranty on it because it was something the dealer had in stock.

Backin15. I used to have goodyear maraton on my gypsy 22 feet back to 1992 and these tires were made in USA. Now like everything else it is cheaper to make them in other countries.

Yikes! A new trailer with "old" tires is a nasty deal for sure. I'm going to have to check the manufacturer date on my Marathons. They have 3 years and about 15M miles of travel on them. They show some wear now but have been totally trouble-free. (They are Made in China). If the manufacturer date is much previous to the '08 trailer, maybe a replacement is in order. Could be '06 tires!! Well, now I'll check!

On the TireRack site, all Goodyear Marathons now show that they are sourced in Canada. . . .

These Kumho's look good to me.

Kumho Radial 857

About 335 pounds more capacity per tire versus Marathon 205/75/14 and a higher speed rating; Q rated (99 mph). Overall diameter and revs/mile is the same (195/80/14 vs 205/75/14).

I have the plain old white spoked rims. Do you know whether they are OK for 65 psi with the D rated tires?

That's odd, as I just checked a few minutes ago and it said they are Chinese tires?

My Goodyear Marathon ST225/75R D rated tires have country code MDHH in 2610. Made in USA.

26th week of 2010 in Gadsden, Alabama.

The steel rims are stamped 50 Psi cold inflation pressure but I run them at 55 Psi. The dealer said with the 100 Psi stems replacing the low pressure ones the rims would be fine even at 65 psi. I want to believe him, so I do.

HA! Maybe you are right! I interpreted CN as Canada but it could just as easily be China.
