chipmunk in trailer

Picked up a chipmunk on the weekend. WOW what a disaster that was. 5 month old trailer and I had to gut the interior to clean it out.Pulled the underbelly out and found 2 4" holes that were not sealed at all. The rascal built a nest behind our pantry. All tho 2 good things came from this
1- I fixed the ripped heater vent to the bedroom. the dealer told me there was nothing wrong with it(they said it was normal for it to not blow heat at that vent)
2- I have it at a shop having the entire bottom spray foamed. hello protection , good bye rodents!!

I will post pics of the "after" of the underbelly later.

not to worried about it. I would rather have the protection from the rodents. they are way worse. We store the trailer on an acerage. plus the regididty it gives the trailer is great , a lot less flex when on the highway. bottom will be protected other then the slide components(just incase) you know with all the horror stories people say. I havent had issues (knock on wood). but you never know.

X2 Good Luck with the spray. Just hope you never have to track down any bad wires or connections with the spray applied.....

went through everything in the under belly to make sure it was up to my standards(not the manufacturers). once I was happy with it I had it hit with spray. I will have less chance of problems with any wiring now then I would have before it was spayed.nothing is open to get corroded or weatherd or chipmonked.

note* the middle picture is of the tanks*

What type of foam did you use? Did you do it yourself. I was thinking about getting a spray foam kit from my local lumber yard and doing it myself.
