Clearance on BigFoot front levelers

Will be doing our PDI soon for our 2016 Forester 2701DS and the front levelers look a little low when retracted during our test drive. Has anyone had problems with them scrapping and catching in uneven camp ground roads? Went to their website and they say to install with a minimum of 7" of ground clearance. I will obviously be on the floor with my tape measure. From the looks of the perforated mounting brackets, it may be simple to raise if there is clearance under the front end.
