Co - Lp detector

My Co - Lp detector keeps going off for no reason It usually happens when no air is moving air off no windows open. No candles lit and gas turned on. Any suggestion as to why?

I have a 2012 Forest River Forester class c 31ft

I just changed mine out. Was told, pet hair, bug spray etc. will make them go bad? Never had pets in our camper but plenty of bug spray.

On the subject I just tested mine in a brand new trailer. Press the Test button, nothing happens. Is it supposed to BUZZ like household detectors do? They have batteries in and tested fine..

Ours went off too. We had the kids visit and DS slept on an air mattress on the floor. Windows were all closed and 1AM it started going off until we put small fan by the detector to better circulate the air. We do have a dog that sleeps in the living area, wonder if that has anything to do with it?
