Coleman Mach 13.5K heat strips

The front A/C unit in our Flagstaff is a Coleman Mach 13.5K unit with aux heat which I assume are some kind of heat strips. Worked fine until yesterday then blew cold (ambient) air only. Turned system off for a while and when "Heat" selected it worked again for a short time until it quit heating for good.

I checked and cleaned the filters thinking maybe low air flow might have caused a thermal limit switch or some such to open but everything looked OK. Don't know what to check next.

Anyone familiar with the system? All suggestions welcome.

Thanx
