Angry concertcrap won't work

We just picked up our 2011 Rockwood 2701ss and of course the 700zx Concertone stero will not work. I heard that there is an inline fuse and was wondering if anyone knows where this is?

I had one behind the unit.
You will have to remove the face plate and pull out the screws holding the unit in.
I hope this is the problem but with Concertone you just never know.
Have you checked the breakers in the trailer?

Some have reported that killing the power to the unit for a few minutes has solved the problem.......for a while anyway.

Good luck.

I have checked the fuses and all seem to be ok. I also pulled the unit out and inspected the mass of tangled wires but couldn't see anything not connected or an inline fuse of any sort unless it's half way down the wall (which wouldn't surprise me) If I could find out which is the power wire that would probably be a start and then go from there but I'm not sure of that either. I was told by an rv service guy that they usually run the power wire directly from the battery to reduce static and there should be a fuse on this line. Thanks in advance for any suggestions or help.

You indicate the fuses all look fine. What I have found with my ZX75 is to actually pull the fuse, even though it is fine. Wait about a minute and then re-insert the fuse. This has worked every time the unit has stopped working for me.

Hope this helps...Good Luck

I know every one hates them but since I put some Kenwood speakers in mine, it works pretty good. I guess I am in a very small minority.

Our Concertone sometimes refuses to come on as well. I've found that pulling the fuse in the trailer electric panel (#11 for mine) and watching the power button light on the radio until it goes off completely, then reinstalling the fuse, works. Seems like it has to discharge a capacitor (probably a memory power capacitor) before it works again. It's an odd duck, that's for sure--I only have to do that every four or five trips out.

Angry

I hooked up my multimeter to the ent. sys. and the xm dock (doesn't work either) and there is power going to both.I pulled the fuse from the back of the stereo and there is power to it and I also have power to the chip board on the dock. When I first looked at the wiring I discovered that they had the power from the dock connected to the main ground with no connector or tape, just bare wire that's what made me notice it.This tells me that they obviously found the problem during the inspection and tried to mickey it....no offense to the mouse but no other way to describe the "QUALITY" workmanship.
