Countertop/Caulk

The caulk that adheres the countertop to the wall pulls away. This is the 2nd time that we will have to fix it. Is this a common problem or are we doing something wrong?

It may help if you could post a pic of the problem and the type of rig you have. My thoughts are if it is happening while traveling that either a wall flexing or floor flexing may be causing the problem or the cabinets are not secured properly without pics hard to tell. Good luck be sure to let us know what you find.

Picture of problem

This is looking down on the counter top. You can see how the caulk has pulled away from the wall. The dealer repaired this once by reattaching the countertop and then re-caulked the area. Now a year later it has happened again. Our trailer is a 2014 Coachmen Apex 249RBS.

I recaulked our kitchen and bath with a clear silicone. Stays flexible and have not had any issues with it pulling away in over 6000 miles of travel.
