Countertop Marks

Last year we purchased a new Rockwood Signature Ultralite 5th wheel with the Taylor Sand color scheme with dark brown countertops. My soap dispensers sitting on the countertops have caused a hazy white ring that I cannot remove. The rings were caused by Dawn and Bath & Body soap dispensers. Forest River said they would reimburse me for the repair, but I want something to protect my table and countertops from future damage as well as repair the problem. Does anyone else have this problem and how did you solve it? Thanks for any help. Other than that we love our new camper.

Pick one of the Wilsonart HD Laminates, there is an upcharge for the HD laminates but typically it's around 50% but the countertop is last longer, look better and will hold up to stains and scratches better.
Any countertop shop, lowes or Home Depot can provide a laminate top so shop around before you pay a dealership.

One last thing if your replacing a top pay the extra to have a piece of laminate backer applied to the underside....this will help balance the top and help protect from the high moisture content in an RV.

We put our soap dispensers on the rubber netting material similar to shelf liners. It helps everything stay in place while moving down the road too and it keeps the soap and even dispensers from direct contact. The link is for the shelf liners but, they sell them in prepackaged 3 or 4 inch round circles of the same material.
