Deadbolt

Well, getting ready for the next camping trip (local) and all things being equal....managed to put the bedroom door key in the living room door deadbolt. Wonderful (sarcasm)... Managed to pull the lock cylinder out of the door handle. Has anyone installed a deadbolt? Working as a technician by trade and a car junky for a hobby...you just wouldn't think it would be too difficult. Thoughts are appreciated.

No, our 06 Cedar Creek. It has two entry doors...one forward to the master bedroom and the main back aft. (sorry retired Navy....nautical terms). Lol. Can't get the dead bolt cylinder to seat in the handle as it should. Thanks.

The whole lock assembly is replaceable, around $35.00 here. Takes about 20 minutes to change the whole thing out, just don't forget to grab the new keys.

Real easy. Had to change mine last Sept 3 weeks after purchase. Locked and broke in one fell swoop. Easier to change the entire unit and get new keys with it at the same time

I got one from these guys.

RVLocksAndMore | RV Locks | RV Keys | Fastec FIC Locks and Keys

You can ask for a specific key code, I replaced one of mine so the front and back door keys would match.
