Dealer forgot to register my RV, can I register it?

I bought my Sunseeker 3170 last October. I know Forest River has a record of building it, as this was a "custom" and a tech on another part of this forum confirmed the VIN when I had a question.

However, today, I had a warranty issue with my BigFoot Levelers. I was too far away to go to my purchasing dealer, so I went to a dealer nearby that I had used before (Uhlman RV in Chehalis, WA, GOOD FOLKS!) Anyway, when they called Forest River to get authorization for the repair that's when it was discovered that my dealer failed to register my RV purchase. Called purchasing Dealer. Dealer apologized and said they would get to it by tomorrow. But in case dealer slips, can I register it myself? who can I call?

Nope you can't do it. The paperwork has to go to Forest River by mail as mine was but if the mileage is low it can be done by the dealer on line in Forest River Site.
It should take long but I would try and find out who is your warantee person at Forest River and call or email them with what's going on.
After it is done I would call Ford and make sure they have your name associated with your VIN #. I did it a few weeks after.

Use the 1-800 number in your Ford book.

Thanks. For the current issue on my BigFoot, not a big deal as FR instructed dealer to go through BigFoot, but if I have any issues in the next six months, OOPS! Wow, bet the dealer didn't even call Ford, either.
