Decal Peeling Off

So the question begs...how do you prevent them coming loose in the future?

It will take a while to remove the decals(stripping). I took my time with the razor not to scratch the sidewalls. I can't tell you how many beers it took. I've got the decals removed on the curb side only and I'm in the process of compounding the complete sidewall before appying the new stripping. Other than clear-coating the entire trailer, I don't think you can prevent them from coming loose.

Don't let my DH up there fool you. He knows I use the same technique, but substitute wine. The perfect dark brown roux can be completed in the time it takes to drink about a 1/2 a bottle of red wine.

I use "Reel Magic" To remove stickers and the glue residue. Works great and fast.
