Dimmer Switch fo "mood lights"

We have a 2010 "Forester" class "C" that has 5 "mood lights" above the entertainment center above the cockpit. I wan't to replace the existing "on/off" switch with a dimmer switch. Where can I obtain a 12v dimer switch?

Hi, Welcome to the forums. Forest River uses dimmer switches in the Georgetown class A's for the halogen lighting in many areas. We have 3 of them in our rig. Here is a link, where you can find the exact same ones as in our rig. Do some looking around, I'm sure you might find them cheaper. I believe they are made by JR Products As far as I know they are available in brown, white or black.

We added two to our coach. One over the dinette so I could take off the sunglasses while eating and one over the chair at the entrance. You can find white ones on Ebay. They're generally cheaper than the brown.

As for the brown ones we bought our through Reicherts on-line parts store. I see the price has gone up. Here's a link for at least a reference.
