Dometic AC knob keeps falling off

We have a dometic AC on our Grey wolf....not the central air type but the type that is more like a window unit on the roof.

One of the knobs keeps falling off.....short off gluing it what can I do to get it to stay on?

Look on the back of the knob, Is there a black band spring on the hub? If not you should be able to find a replacement somewhere. If it is take it off and bend it tighter and see if that helps.
