Dometic Duo-Therm 57915.741 AC only works on lowest setting

Hello,

Hope someone can provide some tips on how to resolve/troubleshoot. Air conditioner works IF I set the temp to the bottom of the temp slider. Move it any higher and the air conditioning shuts off.

Leaving it at the lowest possible setting the air will run but almost never shuts off, so we have run it for a bit (say 10-15 min) then shut it off so as not to overuse it.

I'm thinking it's just a faulty thermostat. The furnace doesn't have the same issue however we seldom use it so I can't be sure.

Since no one responded thought I would post my resolution if it may help someone else.

I replaced the thermostat with latest version and everything works as expected.
