Door pops open!

The door pops open while driving! The lock doesn't hold it, and neither does the deadbolt! We have adjusted its position, tightened screws, etc. Now once we set the deadbolt, it won't unlock. The deadbolt isn't catching in the mechanism that moves it. So we don't use the deadbolt any more and have to bungie the door shut from the inside. Help!

It could be that your bolt is broken. Have heard about this happening a couple times lately. Pull your lock and inspect it for broken pieces. Otherwise it's still an adjustment issue.

Yep, been many posts about broken locks. Some people have even been locked inside. Hope you're able to get it fixed soon.

I had a similar problem on my 2016 Rockwood. I wound up disassembling the door jam and shimming it out slightly. That worked. I also make sure the hand rail is folded in front of the door now.

I always fold hand rail in front of door. Can't open even if becomes unlatched.
