Dual Heat controls side by side (one AC/Heat)

I just looked at a 2006 Cardinal T31rkt and after testing everything, got to the AC unit control and just beside it was another control that appears to be for heat. Can someone please tell me what this is?

Appreciate it!!

if it's a "Blast from the Center"(non-ducted) a/c, it's probably for a heat strip.

With out a little more info its hard to pin it down, however I will try. On my cardinal I have the controller to the AC/Furnace. Then to the right of it there is a controll box that controlls the automatic vent in the ceiling. This may look like a heat controller as it has temp. etc.

Thats my guess
