Duct cleaning

Hi All

I just bought a 2005 Quailridge 38FLA and moved it to my new site. The guy I bought it from mentioned that I should think about cleaning the ducts.

Does anyone know if there any how to articles on duct cleaning available?

Most carpet cleaning or HVAC companies will clean ducts. I know that Indianapolis HVAC companies will clean ducts. I think it is a really good idea to have the ducts cleaned, especially if it has been lived in before. At least you know you won't be breathing other people's dirt!

I researched this further today, and I noticed that Indianapolis hvac companies offer this. Other than the obvious fact of cleanliness, what was the reason he suggested they be cleaned? Was there a problem with the unit?
