Electrical issues 2006 Wildwood

Need some help if at all possible! Just recently when plugged in to 110 and I turn one light on all is good, if I turn two lights on the lights go dim and the CO alarm chirps. Also our slide will not move unless it is hooked up to the battery, if only plugged into the 110 the slide won't move and again the CO alarm chirps. If I have the battery connected no issues with turning up to 10 lights on. Is it a bad inverter or converter or what?

Maybe not an issue. The converter is designed to work with a battery. When higher loads of current are required ( slides in/out), the battery takes up the slack. Also check the ground connection for the converter. Not sure why you would ever not want a battery. It is mandatory when traveling to operate the brakes in case of a breakaway. The propane detector is going off because the converter output is dropping too low.

Flybob,
I didn't know about the multiple needs of a battery. But I am still perplexed as to why the slide worked plugged in last week w/o a battery but now doesn't work with plug in power and only with battery power.
