Explanation of Forest River Docking Station

I have seen several members ask about how the valves work in the Docking station.

This is to help explain what the valves do in the Docking Station.

The picture is from a 2010 Sandpiper 5th Wheel.

#1 Hot Water Heater Bypass.
a. Normal (For Normal water heater use)
b. Bypass (To Bypass water Heater)

#2 Black Tank Flush. (New Models may have “Flush” and “Fill” valve)

#3 Winterizing System.
a. Normal (Water Pump will pump from Fresh Water Tank)
b. Winterize (Water Pump will Pump from City Hose Connection)

#4 City Water Connection.
a. City (For City Water)
b. Gravity (To Fill Fresh Water Tank)

#5 Water Filter.

#6 Outside Shower or Wash Station.

If you use Anti-freeze to Winterize, you should still use Air to blow out the
Water Heater “Normal” and Back Tank lines, as the lines will still hold Water.
