Extended warranty on a used TT?

Tomorrow we pick up a used 2014 Apex 249RBS from a dealer TT appears to be in excellent condition I know they are going to offer me an extended warranty
Is it something I should consider? What is a good price? Can you buy them online?

I'd be very careful and read up on the warranty they will try to sell you.
Some warranty sellers require you to take the unit in once a year and have it completely inspected at your cost, between that and your deductible and monthly premium you have to ask yourself is it worth it.
Make sure you know exactly what is covered and for how long.

I believe, except in a very rare situation, that if you put the $$ you'll pay for an "extended warranty" in a sock and use it for repairs, at the end of the "warranty period" you'll still have a considerable amount of that $$ still in the sock!

We have a 2005 Cardinal 5th wheel and have kept our warranty active under a used RV policy. United States Warranty is a great company. I have had covered issues fixed about four times and the company is very fair. Contact then at 800-233-9878

You could see if the dealer can provide any work performed on the unit. I'd make sure everything works before I'd sign on the dotted line. I also would for go the offered warranty as I think over the long run you'd be money ahead even if you t have repairs made. Is the unit covered by the dealer for 60 days? or? Later RJD

I just talked with someone this morning about warranty's. He said he's never had good luck with ANY of the warranty company's making good on their product! He did say he's heard that Good Sam was good. But I thought I read on here that Good Sam no longer will COVER Rockwood???

The warranty we purchased is called Cornerstone United. Anyone familiar with that?

I'd love to hear more about warranty's from you seasoned folks. We haven't had a trailer for 10 yrs, and just getting back into this!

Extended warranty on a used TT?

For peace of mind you may want to consider a 1 year policy and if you don't use it at all then cancel in 6 months and get some of your money back. Or ask the dealer to give you a 6 month warranty if they would repair any issue themselves. Unless you can repair most problems then used RVs are a toss up. Good record keeping is a must when one is sold or bought.
