External Satellite Connection?

I am installing a satellite receiver in my Wildwood. Before I wire it to an external jack (for portable dish connection), I thought I would ask others who have already done it a question.. Where on the trailer did you put your connection? On the rear / right / left side of the unit? I'm sure one location might be more desirable (ease of use) than the others

Not that this may help, but my Rockwood came w/ the Sat/Cable/phone connection placed on the RH side.

I have mine on the drivers side

the reasoning why is usually running the wire for the dish is out of the way for the kids tripping on it
