flagstaff hw27sc sink wont drain

Just bought unit used and sink wont drain without dump valve open. I verified 6.5 gallon tank. Checked vent stack in cabinet near sink bowl and replaced for good measure and still wont drain. If I unscrew the stack vent until it lets air out around the threads, then it drains. What am I missing here?
Thanks

Sounds like your main vent is clogged on the roof look in it and see if it has a blockage

On some Flagstaffs the vent is under the kitchen window in an area close to the sink on the outside. Make sure you don't have a dirt daubers nest clogging it.
