Floor damage - repair options

Hello,

2008 Wildwood, 31QBSS.

Over one long trip last summer, the slide was catching the floor on the far corner that rests closest to the fridge when the slide is in.

Over time this snagged the wood-grain linoleum pretty badly, although we started sliding a very thin plastic cutting board under that corner to minimize the damage.

Local repair shop fixed the slide, but said there was nothing they could do to repair the floor.

Total size less than the diameter of a softball. I'm thinking I could cut out the damaged part and put some kind of resin in there to fill the area and keep it from tearing further.

Anyone have experience in this area?

Thanks...

I would find a piece of flooring maybe under a cabinet .Trace cut out of the old piece to the new.Use vinyl glue let it tack up a little.set the new piece in.
Buy a seam sealer kit .will last awhile.
I'm a flooring guy do alot of repairs.
Also if In your budget you can get laminate or vinyl planking cheap these days
