Ford steering

I am a mechanic at G.M. Varnado and Sons in Baton Rouge. I have a 2010 E-350 Sunseeker by Forest River. The customers complaint is steering wander. We test drove vehicle, checked alignment specs according to ford, put grease zerts in ball joints, tires are new, checked gear box. Still has complaint. I personally think it drives fine. customer has a tow vehicle and might need air bags on rear. does anyone know if this solution will help or does anyone have a better solution. I dont want to sell something that won't help. I want a happy customer. Any info will be appreciated. Thanks.

What is the customer's experience with RVs? I hope they realize there will be "wobble" to some degree. Lots of weight to manage. RVs do not drive like Corvettes.

Hello, 3 things to solve the wander, 1st, install a Safe-T-Plus steering control, around $450, 2nd get a heavy duty front sway bar, about $350-$450, 3rd, slap on a set of Bilstein Shocks, about $450. That will give a positive steering control and an excellent ride. Also, while I'm helping spend your money, consider the Hendersons Line Up rear track bar, about $650-750. These mods can be preformed by any competant mechanic. I have personally preformed these simple mods for an overjoyed customer. Hope this helps, F Damron

I never had a Ford that didn't wander.
