Forest River Electricial no no..

Found this blue wire nut behind my power converter. These are all the D/C negatives (9) from all my circuits. Look closely, at the one wire that comes from the wire nut and goes into the converter. This one 12 AWG wire is supposed to handle all the negative load. When I removed the tape, the wire nut just fell off. Luckly there was enough length on the wires to put them under the terminal screws in the converter where they belong. I havent had any problems yet but could have been a headache later on.
If you find a blue wire nut with a bunch of wires, you'd be better off in the long run to make the connections more sound. Blue wire nuts are for larger wires not 10- 12AWG wires.

If I were you, I'd call forest river and make sure I had a supervisor.
I'd tell him what you found and send him the picture via e-mail.
This is absolutely NOT code and the guy on the assembly line
needs a time out!!
Seriously.

I've had my converter out to install a battery disconnect and
so I know my white wires do go to the buss bar and not
like your photo thankfully.

Our trailer was an RV show trailer and it sat with EVERY light
on for 7 days. Most people would never do that.
I think you could likely over heat that single lead
with every light on at once.

I do not think this is unusal,don't think it is proper.On ours they cut the #6 neg. wire from battery to convertor,wire nutted the 2 ends of #6 together with a piece of #12 and connected all negative wires to tail of #12.I mounted a ground bar on wall connected all wires to it.This helped with dimming and flickering of 12v lites.

It's not the dealer's fault here, clearly Forest River's, if anyone. The dealer is there to sell the coach and hopefully support the customer, and repair the coach as needed. The coach can't be disassembled & re-engineered in prep.
Just out of curiosity, is that 10 gauge wire? If so, it is rated for 30 amp, which is basically what the trailer's electrical system is rated for. The only thing I don't like is that the wire nut wasn't on there very well probably because they didn't strip the wires enough, are trying to join too many together, or didn't use a big enough wire nut.
I do have a strong belief that the Amish folks don't have much place in electrical wiring or plumbing, based on what I've seen. Cabinetry, though, is great.

Personally I think wire nuts on anything that vibrates as much as an RV going down the road are an accident looking for a place to happen. At least they used some tape on it though. To me crimp type connectors with insulating caps are way more reliable and the number of wires can only be what will fit within the actual crimp connector.
We had wires in our bedroom slide-out that were never connected. There are 2 receptacles next to the bed. Both wires ran into a 1900 box to the main feed. One was connected the other never stripped back just curled up. Also came across a couple wire nuts where exposed wire was sticking out a 1/2" and not secured to anything. Our land line cord fried a lug at the connection since it wasn't proper install and tightened, this could have been catastrophic!
Sounds like the electrical department needs some training and better quality checks.
