Frig: Residental or 2-way

Looking at getting a larger TT. As we shop we are seeing choice of what type of refrigerator is available. Really like the residential type however, we dry camp every year for 8 days straight (rest of the time have at least elec) and I'm concerned that might be the deal breaker. OR, would we be ok with running our (2 Honda) generators for a little bit each day? IOW, would that be enough to keep the batteries charged?

Not knowing the size of the converter or rate of charge I would say running one or two gens it would still take around 4 to 6 hr. to fully charge the batteries back to where they could support the frig for the rest of the day and night. Typically the frig uses a 1000W dedicated inverter.

Since we dry camp quite often, we would NEVER have a residential fridge.
