Angry Front Panel of Sofa won't stay closed

We have the sofa on our 2016 Sunseeker MBS, the problem is that whenever anyone sits on it the flex caused the front panel to drop open, it has a single magnet in the top center and a piano hinge at the floor. We noticed this during the orientation over a month ago and Albany RV says they cant do anything about it. Poor engineering !

My wife and I have a 2015 Wildwood 28DBUD and the same thing was happening with our large sliding drawer under our couch. Under warranty, our dealership added another latch. So far so good.

I installed some short pieces of self stick Velcro on a couch drawer with similar issue.
