Furnace & Air conditioner running at the same time?

On our last trip, we used the furnace at night and the air during the day. On the 2nd day, both the heat and air were running at the same time. Is there a way to reset this?
We have a 2017 Cruise Lite TT.
Thank you

Make sure on the thermostat that the fan is set to auto. If it is on high or low while the furnace is on, it will run the fan and heat at the same time.
