Furrion Observation Camera blowing fuse

Just bought a "refurbished" Furrion observation camera off Ebay and when I plugged in the monitor and the camera to the 12v cigarette adapter the fuse blew. My dad has the same camera so I got his fuse and blew that one too, but I didn't plug in the monitor and the camera at the same time with his. Do I have a bad plug or something more involved? Also need to get more fuses, I know it's 125v but anyone know the amps it should be? Thanks

My manual says the camera is <300mA and the monitor <1mA. It doesn't mention a fuse. You might want to call Furrion about that. However, your father's fuse is likely the correct original fuse and you should see the amperage rating on it, eg .5A, 1A,etc
