In order for someone to help you, it might be a good idea for you to help them first....
I'd probably start out with explaining actions and reactions...

Well....that went south in a hurry.
1. Does the generator turn over when trying to start, but just not fire up?
2. Is it gas? Propane?
3. Is there a way to tell if it is getting fuel to it?
I'm not familiar with MH generators but will try to help until someone more knowledgeable chimes in.

you have not said if it is cranking and not starting or not even cranking.
if not cranking it could be a low battery condition. it uses the 12 volt batteries to crank over and start. if not cranking you can use jumper cables to connect the generator to another 12 volt battery and jump start it just like you would jump start a car. there is a red 12 volt positive terminal on the lower left corner of the generator. use the frame for ground.
if cranking but not starting is it getting fuel (propane)? tanks full, valves open, regulator working? you can take a small tank and a spare barbeque regulator and hose and connect it directly to the propane input port to see if it will run. there is also a propane safety shut off solenoid on the bottom of the generator that is designed to shut off fuel flow into the generator when it is off. there are two wires to the solenoid. should one of them come off (as it did on mine) the solenoid will not open and you will get fuel into the generator. the solenoid is located on the bottom of the generator near the fuel inlet port.
it is most probably going to be either not getting 12 volt electrical power or not getting fuel. can't help much more until we know what the symptoms are.

this may be a bit premature. let's assume that it will run while being connected via jumper cables. the generator needs 12 volts dc to run. even if it is making 110 volt ac it still needs 12 volts dc to run. this means that the battery must supply the 12 volt dc. you can get this by having the 110 vac go through the converter which will convert it to 12 vdc and feed the battery and generator.
but you need to figure out why the batteries got drained to the point that they can't crank the generator. check the status of the battery disconnect switch and check for parasitic loads that will drain the battery.
I go to the storage lot once a month to run the generator (as recommended) and also recharge the batteries at this time. even with the factory installed battery disconnect off the batteries would get drained during the month it was in storage. I installed a battery disconnect that removed all loads and since I have done this the batteries stay charged during the one month storage.
it's a good generator. I hope it works fine for you.
