Georgetown XL Cold air under Dash

My 2008 Georgetown XL has cold air circulating from under the dash. I can't pin point the source but seems to be from the center area of the dash. I sealed around the air conditioner box under the hood with foam but that didn’t help. In desperation I have started shoving sponge rubber in every open area under the dash. It helped some but not a lot. Whenever a large truck passes me I feel a huge rush of air at my feet. It is almost impossible to drive in cold weather without a blanket over my passenger and my feet/legs. Any thoughts?

Do you have a driver's door? I get quite a bit of air through there from passing trucks. I plan to buy some weather stripping to help seal it up. As for under the dash, check at each side where the firewall meets the outter body. I noticed large gaps on mine and stuff those as well. It did help! I also believe the air comes through the AC unit whether you want it or not since it also acts as the defroster. Turn up the heat and send it to the floor. We haven't done this yet but I've read where others have installed a curtain just behind the seats to help block the cold air inside the coach from coming forward. Smaller area, easier to heat!!

Charlie, Thanks for the reply.

No driver's door. Cold from the back is not the concern. It is just the hurricane coming from under the dash! I have looked and foamed about every thing outside that I can find. Including around the firewall/body. The is no problem with air that is not wanted coming from any of the vetns. I just can't find the source of this annoying pain. Are we alone in this problem?
