Got everything running draining properly.... after first and only shower system read "grey tank" 2 full!!! Confused as all get out when out to drain and made sure valves were open and nothing came out?? Anyone have this problem before???

Since you have a 108 gallons total grey tank, you must have two grey tanks, so have you open two grey tank valves? You would have a total of 3 valves on your trailer (1 black, 2 greys)

there may be several reasons for that reading. Like others have said check and ensure if you have a second tank that the valve for it is open. (black should be left closed until tank full just saying). If all valves are correct it may be as simple as some hair and soap scum on sensor try filling the tank and flushing it and see what happens. Let the forum know what you find even if it embarrassing we have all been there.

Correct i have 2 grey tanks. Both valves are open.... the black valve is closed. Granted we only do number 1 in the toilet. BUT this our first outing with it and one shower would not put 108 gallons . Ya im just confused makes no sense.....

Well you'll learn you can't trust the sensors. Are you sure it's full? I realize you said you opened the valve and nothing came out but usually a full grey tank will back up in the shower.

Also maybe the valves are marked or connected incorrectly.
Since you are at a full hook up site, check to be sure the black tank valve isn't by chance one of the greys. Open them all and run water or flush toilet and see which one the water comes out.

A few drops of food coloring in the drain helps determine which is which.

On my trailer they reversed the sensor wires from the tanks with black labeled as grey, etc.

Regardless of what sensor reads, OP says nothing comes out after taking a shower. Maybe 5Picker is correct with the mislabled valves. On my trailer the black valve has a much larger pipe leading to it than the grey if that would help identify the two.

Are your valves cable operated or hands on? If cable, it may have broke /came off, or not installed correctly. First use, right?
If hands on operated, is the handle still moving blade inside valve?

Drain Valves

Try here for you drain valves:
Look under the front slide about center. It is hard to reach when the slide it out. Should be marked on the body. The "T" handle pulls toward the side not straight out.
A grey and a Black should be behind the rear tires.

As others have stated, don't ever trust the sensors. I always trust my wife's visual and audio sensors which go like this; "Honey! The water's not draining in the sink." And I reply; "I'll go right out and drain the tank." Works every time!

May have been some water left in from when it was checked.

Mine are manually operated. Yes the valve is opening. Sadly stuffed my hand in there to verify.. with gloves of course. I came back from a wheelin trip and the tank registered empty?? Ya im so lost... lol
