The switch for operating in electric mode is accessible from the outside and is in the lower left corner of the heater (see photo). The two reset buttons are over temp resets and if tripped they will click when you push them. The switch for propane operation is inside. If the unit tries to start on propane several times the control board will put it in safe mode and prevent further lighting until reset by removing power.

Thanks fly bob It’s hard for me to admit. But I found an actual on off switch. But more embarrassing is that the hot water that came out came much to quickly for the electric to have helped. I came to the conclusion that earlier I had used it and it came to shut off thermostatically. Once we ran some off the hot water out it cooled down and seems to work now. Sorry I’m still new to this camper only 3rd. Time out!
