Question How do I hook a Yami 2400 to 50 amp RV

Another newb question on RV/generators. I've decided on and ordered the Yamaha 2400iSHC. It should run our AC, if not, we'll get by, since we're coming from tent camping. (a MAJOR upgrade, I know) I like the lighter weight of 2400 to 3000, and it should do everything else we may need.
I've been looking for adapters from it's 20 amp outlet, to my RV's 50 amp plug.
The question is, is that what I need, and with an adapter, do I just plug it into my electric connection on the side of the RV.
SO, any help on how to hook up a portable gen to a 50amp RV will be greatly appreciated. Trial by error is not something I look forward too.

The 20 to 50 amp adaptor is what you need. You will have to be very vigilant about power usage. Keep in mind that your converter will be running all the time and if it's charging the battery(s) it can draw a signficant amount of power itself. You should be able to run one A/C unit as long as nothing else is running. Invest in a good volt meter and keep an eye on the voltage at all times.

The Yamaha 2400 will run my 13,500 BTU AC, but don't know if it will power a 15,000 BTU unit. Not sure what is in the Silverbacks.
