How do I remove tv from mount. If you cant see behind it?

I have a 2013 Cedar Creek Silverback and I want to change out the hdmi cord from the factory jensen tv but I am unable to see behind it to see how it is mounted or even fit my hand between the entertainment center and the tv to change out the hdmi cord. It is very tight? Help would be greatly appreciated...

I don't have a Cedar reek, but if it's similar to my mount the TV lifts off the mount by pushing it straight up. It's tight though and I have to slap the bottom of the TV. The mount is Kind of like this picture:

Mine is different but same premise. Lift up on it. You may want to make sure there is not an arm to swing out. Mine was stiff but there. Click image for larger version

Good point about the swing arm. Mine has it also, but has a very strong magnet that holds it against the wall for travel. The magnet is strong enough that I sometimes think I'm gonna break the TV when pulling it away from the wall. I grab the TV at the top and bottom in the center and give it a good yank to break the magnet free. If it's closed, there's no way I could get to the connections in the back like the original poster mentioned.

HI!
We have a 2019 Chaparral 5th wheel and had the same problem with the mount. We needed 3 people, two on the latches behind the TV with THIN arms to release the latches on each side. We needed a mirror at the bottom to see the mechanisms and a light shining from the top. Once the latches were released, two people had to lift the 50" TV off the mount. Now we are replacing it with an articulating mount from Costco, which will allow the TV to be moved out and tilted. BUT we must also attach a belt or cords on each sidewall so the TV won't move while we are travelling. Also we won't be able to pull the TV out too far, lest we pull the wall with it!!

I used a small mirror and flashlight to see how mine is secured.

I don’t remember it’s official name, but I carry a rope type camera that works with my phone. Can’t remember how many times I’ve used it to anylize problems on my 5er. It would solve not being able to see behind your television.

Generally lift up then out. If you can see top of bracket, make sure there isn't a set screw or anything holding in place, but the post #2 pic is probably the type of bracket.

We have A 2013 Cedar Creek 38FL. The bedroom TV is mounted with A Thule TV Mount. It is a round bar type. It clicks into a mounting pad on the bottom, and releases with a white trigger assembly at the top of the bar. Really handy as there is a mount outside for moving it when you want. Sure wish thule didn't discontinue them as I would really like to have another.

The main TV raises and lowers into a cabinet behind the fireplace. That is mounted onto 2 cross bars and is removed by loosening 4 10mm bolts and lifting off the bars.

Not sure if the SilverBack uses the same thing though.

Just a thought, do you have a mounting bracket on the outside of your trailer? Mine does. The TV should have the same mounting mechanism....

Ask your dealer service dept. Most TVs are dealer installed options.

I have a 2017 Cedar Creek Silverback and the living room TV is removed by pushing two spring (flat spring) loaded buttons located behind the lower center of the TV. They are on the mount and are about 2" apart. Push them both up as far as you can and pull the bottom of the TV out (toward you) and the top of the TV should drop down and clear the top of the bracket. My tech writing is a little rusty but I hope this helps.
