How is it working?

Ok I have my battery cables disconnected but 110 plugged into my tt. I still have lights and everything else that works off of 12 volt. Does the inverter convert the 110 to 12 and directly feed the lights? I was thinking it had to run through the battery for some reason.

Your RV CONVERTER converts 110-120 volt to 12 volt. You do not need a battery source present, to operate DC powered equipment, as long as connected to Shore Power.

An Inverter coverts DC power to AC power.

Thanks for the help. Now if I can just get my hand to quit stinging from getting popped by the ruler haha just kidding. Next time I will know its converter not inverter.
