Interior table/cushion decor

So there is one thing so far that I am finding highly unsatisfactory and cheaply done on this $22,000 2014 Forest River RPOD. The interior cushion decor around the table/bed is very cheaply done with a fake leather covering and of all things Staples. Watching my little girl cut her leg for the third time on this shotty work is the last straw. This is clearly a design flaw and thrown together to save money. I am including pictures of this as well.

Are you sure that's fake leather? If so it's a good knock off. But I wouldn't expect real leather on trim work in that area TBH.

Yes, that last picture shows *very* shoddy work. I think that all three should be emailed to FR management, but the first and third should be downright embarrassing to them.

Good grief.

We just bought a brand new 5er, and we've already found two places on the exterior that they missed during painting. Tiny spots? Yep, but we pointed them out to the PDI guy, assuring him we'd expect that corrected during our first trip back for warranty work.

Very telling, isn't it, that we buy something that expensive and *know* we'll be back for warranty work.

To be fair, our dealer is AWESOME X eleventy with sales and warranty work. It's not their fault that QC is so lacking on these expensive toys.

But, I'd go with Flagstaff again tomorrow if need be. And I'd go right back to that dealer.

I'm sure FR will make that right, just gotta get in contact with the right people. Look in the "helpful links" section for a list of FR contact numbers and email addresses.

Oh, and FTR, I *want* one of those RPODs just for quick trips now and then, maybe for tailgating even. They look like SO much fun!

So "retro" looking too, bringing back memories, but now I'm telling my age.

Keep us updated on this, let us know what response you get.

You are correct that is the MSRP price. I can't believe they use staples in this thing though. Glue would have been a much better choice. From the looks of it, they just was in a hurry and saw a staple gun on the floor and used it so they could push it out the door. The wood here is paper thin, they could have stitched it also. This is that new crown package with keyless entry and java interior that they pushed out for 2014.
