JT Strongarms
Just installed JT Strongarms on our 2015 Columbus 320RS. What a difference, they work great. We are very happy with the purchase and they were easy to install. My question for those who have them is, do you remove the T-handles when traveling or tighten them down once the landing gear is up.
Thanks,

I made my own and made L handles so they wouldn't turn while traveling. A T handle will turn, so IF it were me, I would cut one side off or just use the T and tighten them. Only problem is always remembering to tighten them. With my CRS, can't rely on memory anymore.

Never tighten them when up and traveling. Haven't lost one yet.

Walley World has 8" Velcro straps with a hole in one end. We put the threaded end of the T thru the hole and wrap the Velcro strap around the arm and T to hold it from turning during travel.

My T handles were exposed to a Canadian winter and have enough corrosion now they don't move.

I'm not sure if they are exactly the same, but I installed the Steadyfast stabilizers on my TT just last weekend and the instructions said to tighten the T handles during travel.

Thank you Turbs... I have been thinking of building some.... My building usually works...it's just not always cheaper. I work in pipe, valves and fitting business...I have access to the pipe/tube to make them. I thought about the cargo bars to make them..they are $20+ ea and I would be just as well off to buy them...I have been trying to figure building a surge system. I gotta get an electrical, computer and engineering background... and I am in. Maybe I should just spend the $300 or so

If you can get pipe that telescopes, you can make a complete sets for the whole trailer much cheaper than manufactured ones.
