King Tailgater
I'm looking for anyone that owns the KING Tailgater VQ4500. I'm building a Ladder bracket to hold the KING Tailgater VQ4500 out of reach. I need the Mounting Hole pattern, center to center and the hole diameter. I would appreciate any help.

What Tailgater did you order, the King VQ4500. And may I ask where you ordered the Ladder mount?
Tailgater | KING
I have the Dish VQ2500, which is made by King. That particular model (VQ2500) is now discontinued. The Ladder mount I designed will hold the VQ2500 or the VQ4500.
My design should hold any Portable Satellite dish, within reason of course. If they get a bigger (footprint), a larger mounting plate might be necessary. The mounting holes would be drilled accordingly, possibly by the purchaser.

I can't remember where I brought the ladder mount, I also brought a tripod and 20ft of aluminum pipe so I could put the tailgater up high in the air. I have Direct tv now and I don't use the tailgater now

Maverick50....here's what I came up with on mine. 4 hole mounting system 0*, 90*, 180*, 270* Holes are 7" apart and distance across from each other is 9 15/16". Hole dia. measured with a drill bit shank is 7/32" or .219
Hope this will help you. Post pictures when you get it done.

Any pictures of the ladder mount? I made some that are able to be mounted in 3 positions. 2 positions on the ladder stand offs and 1 at the very top of the ladder. Mount is easily moved and removed for storage. Also made one for the pinbox.

Spock123, any recollection on where you may have grabbed that ladder/tripod setup? I've been searching all around the internet trying to find that kind of setup for mine. I finally got that far in the woods i guess! can't find but 1 bird (of 3). and going nuts with no channel selection!! TIA!

I'm testing my design as we speak. If you are interested and can let you know what my findings are. I'm also having a production prototype made up, then I'll start taking orders.
King sells the Ladder Mount Part#: MB400 MSRP: $179.99. I hope to be a lot cheaper and Its a better design.

I just climb the ladder and put it on the roof in a position that has clear sky.

Need a 2nd test-bed?
I spoke to the factory about the MB400 just this past week. ... finally got to a TECH rep who indicated they're NOT making the 400 any longer. Too many trying to drive around with the dish still mounted on he said. A new model coming out.. and forgot when he said... Most of the sites i'd seen online staid 'out of stock' and his comments explain why. He suggested trying the dealers/wholesalers and see if any left on the shelf.
I was able to snag a used one on ebay.. (for REALLY cheap). and it's on it's way to me.. but pretty sure I'm going to need more height for things to work
