Landing gear up or down for winter?

Hiya,

As I finish my winterization I'm wondering if the trailer would be better supported with less support for the coming snow season.

Any thoughts on this? We average over 100 inches of snow annually and while my site will be quite wind swept, I imagine the roof will have some extra weight on it. I could pull up the gear and let the suspension handle the load, or not.

Oh, and btw, only being able to use camp for half a year truly bites. I'm very much envious of you folks in the south.

Just so we are all clear you are leaving your tv hooked up to 5er?
If so imo I would leave some weight on landing gear and some on tv.
I wouldn't let all the weight on tv suspension . it's quite possible to ruin the springs and also not be good for the tires.
