Leaking Georgetown
Well, my brain is worn out, so I thought I'd ask more brighter minds for help.
I have a 2004 Georgetown on a Ford F53 Chassis. I had a blowout on my return trip a few weeks ago. Pulled off the side of the road...noticed a puddle of oil underneath the front of the MH. Gee....what's that? It's sticky...not engine oil. Hydraulic, brake fluid? I wiped it off the cross member under the MH. Started the engine....no leak....pumped the brakes...no leak. Oh well.. Got the blow-out repaired..drove 4 more hours home....no leak. Hmmm....must be a hydraulic line to my Lippert Jacks.....nope....brake line???...nope..transmission cooler.....nope......transmission.....nope....mayb e there was oil in my Good Year G60 tire that blew.....nope....
Oh, someday I'll figure it out.....and say DUHHH.
Any other ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Barry
