Manually retract Lippert 6 point auto level

Hello All,
We are planning a 6,200 mile trip from NY out to Montana and Utah (and) all the states in between.
It's phase 6 of our quest to cover all 50 states as a family. We are up to 33!

2 nagging concerns of mine are what to do if the autolevel system legs won't retract, and if the slides won't come in. Thoughts of being stranded really bother me....

Does anybody have a direct link as to how to manually override the lippert hydraulic legs, and slides?

Thanks!

Below is the best video site I have found for products used in FR (mostly Lippert). The link to 'Lippert Slide-Outs - Manually Override Hydraulic Slide-Outs' gives a pretty good description of how to do this for SLIDES AND JACKS (second column about 3/4 down). Of course the system shown doesn't look exactly like mine but all the parts are the same (just different locations). Hope this helps! I worried about that also, but after 5 years we haven't had one problem with the hydraulic system (slides or jacks).

Hope you never have to use the manual override!!

Getting slide in.
By far the best video out there! I've watched most of them.
Jump ahead to 1:54 for manual retraction of Schwintek slide!

Check first

Before going thru manual over-ride, check the breakers on what I call the terminal blocks. The cables from the hydraulic pump connect to them. Along the side are little black buttons. (Have to feel for them as they are very tiny.) If one is tripped it will knock out the system.

Ask how I know. ..lol

Just to clarify for other folks; the newer models have these mini breakers, most of the older models (mine is 2012) do not.

X'2 Mine is only I think is an 80 amp breaker with a red button on it, that is not the reset an little arm will pop up and you will need to push it back down to get power back to the pump. Also thanks for the link, I copied it to my bookmarks, a lot of info in that link... And to the OP, I understand your concern, I had the same. To get past that I learned the system while in my driveway not at a CG. Work the system, if you get stuck like I did you can call LCI, not all LCI systems are the same. If you call LCI you will need to take a picture of your controls and text it to the rep. from that point they can help you out a lot faster and easier. I know I never would have found my breaker to the pump without them seeing the control and telling me what to look for..Hope that helps...

FYI. LCI has an app called "my LCI" that has tons of information about their systems on it. From parts lists to trouble shooting almost all of their products. It's my go to source when I have an issue.
