Thanks so much for the circus idea! So far, TW's mouse circus has been open for two nights, and it's been one mouse per night. Yep, it's TW 2, mice 0. I hope the word is spreading in the mouse community...

And I built one of these. I wondered why they were bringing popcorn.

I'm sending all my mice your way. Looks like a great retirement home for them.

Send the bill to Forest River. I think that should be covered by the warranty.

I tried that cat thing. Threw in a cat, checked a month later and the cat was dead. No problem finding him though.

Obviously not enough mice/rats to support a cat

My 21 pounder would require a lot of sustenance.

And yes, cats stink too! I have 3 of them. They keep all the rodents smaller than them chased off. As far as 'possums and 'coons, well they just watch them. I have to medicate them myself. But that is news for a different thread.
To keep mice out, stuff steel wool into any little hole, crack that you can find under, on the side, on top of the rig. You can find steel wool near the rodent poisons or traps or in any hardware store. Don't be humane to the mice, kill the little B__TURDS! Forget the box traps or the sticky pads. The best thing is the ole spring trap with a peanut/pecan/peanut butter as the bait. Guaranteed!!!

I would sure like a picture of this contraption. Sounds interesting, but I can't exactly picture how you do it.
