yep...no beeps from the buttons either...almost like it is over heated...

iis it only doing that with corn on the cob, or all, I know there is a cavity thermal fuse, that will open if it gets to hot.

anything we cook for more than 10 min with water added into the recipe...like pasta....heat up so there is a lot of steam and moisture.....

I know it probably should not be so sensitive, but I think it is triggering either a thermal fuse or moisture control, what model and make is your micro?

alright you thread hijackers!

...anyway...back to the original posters question...

When I plug the micro into a different outlet in the trailer...it works fine. Only trips on the outlet that was made for it.

Bad breaker or loose connection in the wiring. If it works someplace else that eliminates the m'wave.

As to the one that overheats, pull the cabinet work away and see if something is blocking ventilation. Some trash might have been left in there during construction and has shifted around to block a vent.

I agree with Radio, check the vents, some on top, some are on bottom, Jolly, I agree with the other 2, now that your Micro is eliminated, wiring or ground?
