I have a 2011 rockwood 2304s >my magic cheif micro makes ahumming noiseyou can here it more if you open the door but it always makes this noise when not being used. But it does work fine.So now i shut the breaker of at night so i don"t hear the hum.Is this normal or do i need a new one.
There are a few things that could cause "a buzzing sound". Among a few, it could be the relay which suppies the transformer, or the Magnetron itself. For the price of a new micro, I'd replace it.

No it's not normal.I would try to have dealer replace it under warranty.
What you are describing is scary to me, I would have it checked out.

There is a transformer behind the touch panel that supplies the low voltage for the control circuit. It is normal for it to make a light humming sound. Ours does it too. I can't hear well anymore so it doesn't bother me but DW can hear it.
