My pop-up is beeping...

I recently bought a 2008 Flagstaff popup. We have used it twice and had a great time. About two days ago it started beeping... The sound is coming from the AC mounted on top of the popup. It beeps about every 30 sec. It's plugged into an electrical outlet and it's closed. I raised the top and found nothing on. The beeping has not stopped and Iím a little worried. Can anyone offer any help...? Thanks...!

9 volt battery in the smoke detector, or CO2 detector, is weak. Replace the battery.

Not familiar with the popup, and he said it was coming from the roof near the AC.
The smoke detector should be on the ceiling somewhere. (9VDC issue?)
The Propane detector should be near the floor.
Is the smoke hard wired into the DC system of the popup like on the 5'ers?
If so, the 12 lead acid battery could be low or not charging.

In RVs the Smoke detector and CO2 detector are mounted on the ceiling. They are both 9 volt operated.

bugg,

Propane leak detector is mounted close to the floor and is 12 volt operated. Propane is a heavy gas and will flow and settle close to the floor.

I'd have to say the beeping is coming from the Smoke detector or CO2 detector.

Thumbs up Ya'll were riight...

You guys were exactly right it was the smoke detector located about 1 ft. behind the AC. When the unit was closed the sound was coming from the AC. Thanks for your help. I very much appreciate your taking the time.

Bad assumption, regards the smokes in 5th wheels, on my part. I thought they were hard wired like the propane detector. I will have to check to see how they come apart.
