Mystery drain - Rockwood 8314

I had to repair the gray valve on our Rockwood 8314 today (had a piece of plastic caught in the gate) and took the opportunity to crawl around underneath the unit. Two things caught my attention; a "mystery" valve of some sort forward from the low water drains, and this other device which I think might be a slide track since it's located right below the bedroom slide. I attached pics hoping someone can tell me what these are. Thanks in advance!

Dealer fail is right, we had the worst walk through. The techs were being pushed to get units ready for a show and really didn't seem happy to have to do a PDI. I won't mention the dealer but we didn't have FUN in the TOWN of Cleburne, TX. 80% of what I know about our TT came from reading this forum, 15% from reading the manuals, and 5% from the PDI. I do remember that is the fw drain, used it only once or twice, just looked different from the bottom up.
