Need help with an Unknown switch

So my father bought a forest river 32ds all American sport toy hauler from a guy locally. The guy very briefly went over the fifth wheel inside and he was kind of vague on some of it. Before we could get back to they guy with a few questions he passed away unexpectedly. There is a red rocker switch on the wall above the tank level gauges right next to the entry door. Just wondering what this goes to?

On mine the only red switch is for the polar pac. Which heats water holding tanks so they dont freeze.

The gas ignitor switch for the hot water heater is behind the stove. Maybe it's so you can run it on electric? No there's no gas pump on board and I'm not positive about tank heaters.

It could be the water pump switch as well.

Did you check the scare lights? I would think there would be a rear scare light for closing the ramp and locking it and a switch to turn it if when you come inside. Just thoughts in my head.

Since it's close to the indicator panel, I'm guessing tank heaters.

As has been asked many times why would you want to heat hot water, the same could be asked why would you want to heat cold water unless you get your water from blocks of ice.

Ya'all know it heats both cold and hot water right?

When the water heater has been off a while, then turned on, it heats cold water.

Once the water heater is on, the water comes to temp and turns off. Then when the water cools enough for the thermostat to kick back on, (130ºF-140ºF) it is heating hot water.

So... water heater.

BUT... I believe the OP's switch is Tank Heater(s)

I wonder if it is to turn on the auto remote for the awning.

No, the OP did not post the year of his toy hauler.

If the OP was asking my grandfather he would tell him "The switch is so people will ask silly questions." All of his grand-kids fell for that trick when growing up.

I have a 3100SS sunseeker and I have a switch like that on the same side as yours but on the wall next to the stove and it is for the water heater to run on electric instead of gas. it also has a switch like that on the control panel for the water heater to run it on propane.
